Chicago, June 29, 2005 – Hopewell Ventures, a $110 million venture capital fund licensed by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC), announced today that Jeffrey J. Lampe has joined the company as a Senior Associate.
In his role, Lampe will identify investment opportunities, coordinate due diligence, negotiate equity financings, and work with portfolio company management teams on an ongoing basis.
Mr. Lampe most recently was Co-Founder and Senior Associate of Gazelle TechVentures, a $63 million Indianapolis-based venture capital firm founded in 1999, where he was instrumental in all aspects of the firm's operations and portfolio. Prior to Gazelle, Mr. Lampe was a senior associate with Monument Advisors/Monument Capital Partners. Mr. Lampe is currently on the advisory board of Oxygen Education, a simulation-based educational software company focused on the manufacturing sector.
He holds a BS from Purdue University, an MBA from the University of Notre Dame (High Honors), and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
